This week we have been building on the children’s learning about counting in 2s, 5s and 10s.
We have been solving multiplication problems using arrays.
The children have learnt that multiplication problems are commutative.
This means that 3×4=12 and 4×3=12.
The children have enjoyed making arrays out of counters, objects, rubber rings as well as sweets and biscuits.
