Year 6/5W ‘In Class’ Assembly

This was the first attempt at a Class Assembly in the classroom. Parents were invited and many turned up to support the event. The children outlined and showed off elements of the work they had been doing so far this term in a variety of subjects.
After the presentation parents and visitors were given refreshments by the children and sat with the class to tackle a shape activity using Pentominoes. Also the children were able to show their parents work they had completed so far this year in all of their books.
All had a lovely afternoon and thought it was a positive way to end the school week and to see their children work within the classroom environment.
