The Laira Green Singers
The Laira Green Singers (aka The Choir) meet in the Music Room every Friday lunchtime with Mrs Buckingham.
We love singing and look forward to performing our pieces regularly each term.
The Ukelele Orchestra is a new group which was started to extend the skills of all our ‘Wider Opportunity Programe’ Ukelele players.
We meet on a Wednesday after school in the Music Room from 3pm. The session starts with squash and biscuits.
The KS1 recorder club is run by Mrs Browne on a Friday lunchtime to give Year 1 and Year 2 children a chance to learn an instrument and begin the skill of reading music.
KS2 recorder club is held on a Wednesday lunchtime by Mrs Browne and Mrs Ford. This is for the older children who can already play the recorder and want to develop further.
